Moto Z Play to receive Android 7.1.1 Nougat update soon, confirms Motorola

Well, as per the new report from Motorola itself, the smartphone is soon expected to receive the latest software update – Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This is no rumour or speculations as Motorola confirms the news.GSM arena is the first one to report about the software update. The report states that Motorola confirmed the coming of the Android 7.1.1 Nougat during a chat session, reports GSM arena. This being said, Moto Z Play will be the first Motorola device to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.Announced last year, Moto Z Play gained tremendous success soon after in a very short span. In terms of specifications, the Motorola smartphone sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED statement with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions. Further, the Moto Z Play display comes coupled with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 and packs 3GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of an internal storage unit. The storage space can be further expanded up to 256GB via an external microSD card. On the camera front, the device features a 16-megapixel camera at the rear panel which comes coupled with features like – phase detection, laser autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, and auto-HDR.
