In a year that saw brands like HMD Global, Xiaomi and Samsung launch a handful of phones one after another, Motorola kept things pretty quiet. The company did not release a proper flagship phone and instead made do with budget and mid-range offers like the Moto E5 Plus, Moto G6 and Motorola One Power to name a few. It did launch the Moto Z3, but with a 2017 Snapdragon 835 chipset much like the Nokia 8 Sirocco so it does not really count as a 2018 flagship. But Motorola will change things up next year with the Moto Z4.XDA-Developers reports based on sources that Motorola is working on a new flagship phone that will run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8150 flagship chipset. The chipmaker is expected to unveil its next-gen mobile processor in December. While the upcoming Motorola flagship phone is yet to get a name, it is largely expected to be called the Moto Z4. The device in question also has a codename Odin.Apart from the Snapdragon 8150 chipset, Motorola is also working on Moto Mods support for the Moto Z4. Now, the company said earlier the its existing Moto Mods will work with three generations of Moto Z devices. The Moto Z4 is a fourth-generation device, so it will be interesting to see whether it will support older Moto Mods. Additionally, the Moto Z4 is said to support the upcoming 5G Moto Mod.The 5G Moto Mod is said to include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X50 modem. It was supposed to launch alongside the Moto Z3, but the Mod is yet to be announced and it may come out with the Moto Z4 now. The Moto Z4 is also expected to ship with Android 9 Pie and the reports adds that the company is working on developing the software to handle in-display fingerprint sensor, but this does not confirm whether the Moto Z4 will have that biometric feature.advertisementApart from the Moto Z4, the company is also expected to launch the Moto G7 early next year. Rumours and renders of the phone over the past few weeks suggest the Moto G7 will sport a waterdrop display, dual cameras and will run a Snapdragon 660 chipset. We will know more about Motorola’s plans once 2019 begins.

Co-hosts Bomani Jones and Dan LeBatard asked him about his toughest game as a player, his class attendance at Ohio State, what his mom said about him questioning the OSU coaches after losing to Michigan State (he wouldn’t answer), and other topics. But LeBatard’s father Gonzalo, affectionately known as “Papi”, stole the show. He asked Elliott how to wear his trademark “crop top” look and then proceeded to turn his dress shirt into one after Elliott gave him a tutorial. @EzekielElliott just showed Papi how to make his shirt into a crop top pic.twitter.com/bfQNmtoiwz— Taylor Ashbrook (@TA2014) February 15, 2016Papi’s crop top @HQonESPN pic.twitter.com/mKNy73tPAY— Joe (@realmarlina) February 15, 2016Never change, Papi.

MONTREAL – The president of Quebec-based retailer La Maison Simons said he “sincerely regrets” naming his women’s lingerie line after famous Canadian women, including former Supreme Court justice Beverley McLachlin.Peter Simons said in a call with The Canadian Press that the line was meant to honour women who made historic contributions to Canada, but instead caught the ire of McLachlin, who called Simons recently because she was “quite upset” with the company’s “Beverley bralette” and wanted an apology.“The way it was structured was in poor taste…It was not acceptable the way we went about it,” he said, of the line of lingerie that also sought to commemorate suffragette Nellie McClung and author Gabrielle Roy.“It was a lack of judgment on our part, on my part.”Simons said he decided to discontinue and destroy all the materials related the line following his call with McLachlin, who retired in December after spending 28 years at the Supreme Court, including almost 18 as chief justice. He also agreed to two demands from her: a public apology and a request to get involved with a fundraising campaign for the Cornerstone Housing for Women emergency shelter organization in Ottawa.Simons said McLachlin was not the only person to complain about the line. By the time he spoke with McLachlin, his company received complaints on their social media accounts and saw some letters that were critical of the line in local newspapers.“The process of realization had already started when Ms. McLachlin called me,” he admitted. The naming misstep, he said, arose when the Simons team was looking for inspiration for their new lingerie line and the team thought “why don’t we look towards inspiring Canadian women that we respect and admire?”To ensure its products don’t generate anger again, Simons said he has been meeting with staff and stressing the importance of privacy and naming rights. He also emphasized “the right to dissent” because McLachlin was neither informed or asked for approval on the products bearing her name.Simons said that he has told staff that despite everyone having a job to do, staff should feel comfortable standing up and expressing concerns. And he’s not assigning blame.“I take full responsibility,” he said.He has yet to reach out to McLachlin to see if she finds his conciliatory efforts satisfactory, but said he hopes to eventually express his apologies in person.“I made a mistake and I sincerely do regret it,” he said.“I am just trying to make it right because in my heart I really wanted to celebrate (the women). These are inspiring women that have changed the history of our country.”

New Delhi: She made a stunning debut with Dangal, but Fatima Sana Shaikh says getting a perfect launch pad was not a cakewalk as people told her she did not have the “looks” of a heroine like Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. Fatima, who started her journey in the movies as a child actor with Kamal Haasan’s 1997 film Chachi 420, says the rejections shifted her focus from waiting for a conventional lead role to searching for a good character. Also Read – I have personal ambitions now: Priyanka”I have been a child actor. I quit but making a comeback after that was difficult. I was not getting any work. People used to tell me I don’t look like Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif. They said, since I didn’t have the looks of a heroine, I should do whatever I’m offered. There have been many incidents where I was told that I was not good enough,” Fatima said. The actor says her desire to perform in front of the camera was so strong that she did not pay heed to what people thought of her. Also Read – Salman Khan remembers actor Vinod Khanna”I only had acting on my mind. The reason why I used to go for every audition was because I would get to perform in front of the camera, even if the set-up was small.” The success of Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal, however, made things easier for Fatima as it gave her the option to choose. “Before Dangal, I never had the chance to choose my projects. I even did ‘Dangal’ because that was my only option at that time. Every actor goes through this. That’s how things function. But I am happy that post the film and especially after ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, I have the space to choose,” she says. Citing an example of Rajkummar Rao, her co-star from Anurag Basu’s upcoming anthology, the actor says there is no formula for success. “There is no single rule that applies to everyone. But now there are so many opportunities because of Netflix, Amazon and other platforms. Influx of different mediums has given actors a lot more options.” Fatima says even though her aim is to establish herself as a sought-after performer, she does not believe in planning “too much”. “Where I want to reach it might take two or maybe six years. But I am happy that at least I’m on my way.”
Mumbai: Actor-singer-songwriter Farhan Akhtar who has released his first solo music album titled ‘Echoes’, produced by Grammy Award-winning Italian producer Tommaso Colliva, says such collaborations are fruitful for creativity. Sharing his experience of working with an international producer who has worked with British band Muse and Mary Chain among others, Farhan said: “Working with Tommaso was really amazing because his approach was quite different. He wanted to know the story behind each song, and what was my frame of mind when I was writing them.” “The atmosphere was so conducive that as a singer-songwriter I felt really excited to work on it. He wanted to do the production and sound following those written words. It really added value to the album. It was a great learning experience.” Asked if he would like to use the experience to contribute to the independent music scenario in India, where Bollywood music mostly overshadows it, Farhan said: “We are doing a lot of stuff through our movies. If you look at the recent example of Gully Boy, we have encouraged musicians from the underground scene. I would love to support and encourage young talent, but look, this is not my full-time job.” Farhan will be seen opposite Priyanka Chopra Jonas in “The Sky Is Pink”, which will release in October.
Let’s talk about the great match that Cristiano Ronaldo had this Saturday against Napoli, he didn’t score a goal but was Juventus’ man of the match. After a rocky start on his new spell for Juventus in Serie A, Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo finally felt like himself during this Saturday’s match against Napoli and he didn’t even feel the need to score a goal. It was the most crucial match of the month for the Italian giants, they were going to clash against the one club that could virtually threaten them on their intentions to win the eighth consecutive Serie A title.Napoli was coming in great shape with their new manager Carlo Ancelotti completely killing it since the start of the competition, but Juventus now has Cristiano Ronaldo and this was the perfect day for him to prove that he really came to give his best in order to keep enlarging his already astronomical legend in world football. The match began with a complicated setback for the Vecchia Signora as Dries Mertens opened the scoreline during the first half after a Jose Callejon assist, Juventus needed to come back from behind in order to get those three points and Cristiano was fortunately having an inspiring day. He was playing his best football coming from both sides of the field, Massimiliano Allegri already reckoned that Ronaldo is reaching that sweet spot and he gave him a free pass to roam all around the field.📹 Re-live tonight’s #JuveNapoli win 🔛 #JuventusTV ➡️ https://t.co/w0hFSIAFZD 💪 pic.twitter.com/9RJwqkCuZr— JuventusFC (@juventusfcen) September 29, 2018Cristiano started with a bang during the first half by responding to Napoli’s opener with an excellent cross to Mario Mandzukic’s head, the Croatian striker was perfectly positioned for that clinical assist from the Portuguese player and Juventus started cruising from that moment forward. Before halftime, Cristiano was very close to scoring his goal from a free kick that the goalkeeper could barely reject and the other Juventus players didn’t get there in time to score on the rebound. But the best from Ronaldo was saved for the second half, which was when he really did unleash his best football and Carlo Ancelotti wasn’t able to come up with a plan to stop him. Suddenly after the break, the Napoli players realized that Cristiano Ronaldo was being multiplied as he appeared absolutely everywhere on the field in almost every single play.It was only a matter of time before Juventus would get ahead in the scoreline as they were virtually the only team on the pitch during the second half, all thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s stellar performance. This was officially the game in which Italy welcomed the best version of the Portuguese player, and he didn’t even need to score a goal.Juventus confirm Mario Mandzukic could leave this month Andrew Smyth – September 14, 2019 Sporting director Fabio Paratici confirmed reports that Mario Mandzukic could leave Juventus for a move to an unnamed Qatari team.Playing a part in all 3️⃣ goals tonight 🔥🔥🔥#CR7JUVE 👏👏 #ForzaJuve ⚪️⚫️ #JuveNapoli pic.twitter.com/gzMgTmZxIp— JuventusFC (@juventusfcen) September 29, 2018The next big moment in the second half came as Paulo Dybala attempted to take a ball in the final third but got on Ronaldo’s path, he left the ball to the Portuguese forward and Cristiano released a potent long-range strike that hit the post and rebounded. Fortunately for Juventus during that play, Mandzukic and his killer instinct were very close to the goalkeeper and he just needed to get in there to push the ball in for his second of the night thanks to the number ‘7’ once again.Near the end of the match, there was a corner kick that Cristiano managed to connect with his head, but the strike was going outside and Leonardo Bonucci was forced to intervene to make the goal count. Just like that, Cristiano Ronaldo was directly involved in all of Juventus’ three goals with an assist on each of them but he only intended to do that on the first goal. The other two assists will count as such but Ronaldo really attempted to score, only he wasn’t lucky enough to do so.Either way, Cristiano was very happy with the result and mostly with his influence in what is the most important game of the season for Juventus so far. Juve goes six points clear of Napoli with this result, all thanks to Ronaldo.Which of Juventus’ goals did you like the most against Napoli? Please share your opinion in the comment section down below.

Manchester City’s hopes of winning an unprecedented quadruple may be scuttled by Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to Matt Doherty who believes they can win the FA Cup.The FA Cup title is the only domestic trophy eluding Pep Guardiola in England and the Spanish manager has set his sights on winning all the competitions. However, there is a well-tutored Nuno Espirito side who are punching well above their level this season.Nuno Espirito is a well known professed and renowned student of Jose Mourinho and has somewhat masterminded the downfall of the big teams this campaign with a brand of football that is reminiscent of Mourinho in his Porto days.Wolves went on to make a huge statement of intent in the Cup by dumping favourites Manchester United. And Doherty sees no reason why they should not lift the trophy to cap a remarkable campaign.Premier League Betting: Match-day 5 Stuart Heath – September 14, 2019 Going into the Premier League’s match-day five with a gap already beginning to form at the top of the league.
