Millclock ZIN18 Nixie clock gives modern tech a retro touch » Gadget Flow

first_imgThe Millclock ZIN18 Nixie Clock is sure to start conversations. This creative clock features Nixie tubes, which were used in the 50s as light-up numeric indicators in technical equipment. The tubes were handmade and required expertise to manufacture. Today, they harken back to a different era. The Nixie tubes in this clock are also handmade and use higher-quality materials than the originals. They’re also pretty energy efficient. Moreover, the ZIN18 comes with a smartphone app and has a touch-sensitive control panel that allows you to set the time. Additionally, this clock synchronizes its timing with the internet, so you won’t have to worry when it’s time to move the clocks forward or back. Best of all, it has its own alarm. With this retro clock, what’s old really is new again. – Advertisement –last_img read more
