A travel ban was imposed on thosetraveling from North Gyeongsang province, where Daegu City is located. It iswhere the majority of South Korea’s coronavirus cases are concentrated. Aside from Daegu, the Philippines alsohas an existing travel ban on China and its special administrative regions HongKong and Macau. Japan is also being eyed by the country.
